Christian Louboutin Barbies?

Did anyone know about this??! The first of three Christian Louboutin limited edition Barbie, Dolly Forever, was released May 3, 2010.  Each Doll comes with 4 Barbie sized Christian Louboutin shoes and boxes… and bags! Seeing these barbies was so exciting, I haven’t even thought of barbie in years, but who doesn’t want a pair of C. Louboutin’s? These collectors edition barbies are going for $150 a pop! That’s still (much) cheaper then the real shoes…

MotW: Sasha Pivovarova!

Sasha Pivovarova

Born January 21, 1985 in Moscow, Sasha Pivovarova is best known for her 6 season run with Prada. Pivovarova was discovered when long time friend and photographer, Igor Vishnyakov, took pictures of her and sent them to IMG in New York. She was immediately signed to IMG and walked for Prada as her first runway show, scoring a 3 yr exclusive contract. May 2007 Pivovarova was named one of the New Supermodels in American Vogue. Kubiat Oku Nnamdie

Kubiat Oku Nnamdie ( aka Kobe or KON) is a Nigerian artist, based in Miami. His career kicked off as soon as he graduated when he was asked to shoot an s/s ’10 campaign for a local designer.  He is currently involved with a project called ‘The Young Are Willing’, a project that focuses on the current creative youth that are inspired, driven, and willing. Nnamdie is also wrapping up his Pills project, which explores the pros and cons of taking pills. The project was inspired by family doctors, and the death of two close friends caused by pharmaceutical overdose. Nnamdie feels his vision is to tackle serious issues, but in a creative, playful manner. For the future he will perfect shooting in a cinematic format. Read the rest of this entry »

I was trying to stray from the obvious with this weekly model business. Bringing to surface new faces of fashion, but who can deny this girl the title?

Raquel Zimmermann

Raquel Zimmerman claimed the title of # 1 international model from Dec. 2007 to Feb. 2010. She was ranked # 13 of top models of all time. Born May 6th, 1983 in Retiro Do Sul, Zimmerman was discovered by a scouting agency in Porto Alegre, Brazil at age 14. She quickly moved from Brazil to Japan then to Paris. She graced the cover of Vogue Italia in Sept. of 2000 as her first cover shoot. She’s worked for top designers as Balenciaga, Chanel, Chole, CK by Calvin Klien, Fendi, H&M, Boss… ect. WOW! Emma Watson is apparently the highest grossing actress of the last decade! Being a Harry Potter Fan myself I figure that is more than enough reason to have an Emma Watson post about her new found modeling career. But then I find out her brother Alex Watson is also modeling! He appeared along side Emma for the Burberry Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
